Topics covered include threat assessment, design basis threat, physical security, cybersecurity, and the human factors that can impact security. Participants will also learn about the roles and responsibilities of various stakeholders in the UK nuclear sector, such as the Civil Nuclear Constabulary, the Intelligence Community, Department for Energy Security & Net Zero and the Office for Nuclear Regulation. By the end of the course, participants will have a solid understanding of the fundamentals of nuclear security and the unique challenges that exist in the UK context.
